Project Host a soup kitchen downtown – started in 1981 as an outreach program of the local Episcopal churches. Since then, it has continued to grow to accommodate the community’s needs. Our current facilities house a 185-seat dining area and a fully equipped commercial kitchen.

Every day of the year, from 11am to noon, we offer homemade soup, a sandwich, fruit, and a beverage to those in our community who, for one reason or another, can’t quite make it on their own right now. We don’t ask why. And we don’t criticize. We simply feed people. In fact, last year alone we were able to provide over 71,049 meals to the needy.
