 Soup Kitchen

SoupKitchen.png

Project Host began in 1981 as a Soup Kitchen in the parish hall of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. While we’ve expanded our programs over the past 40+ years, our Soup Kitchen still anchors our work in the community. Every day of the week except Saturdays we serve a hot, made-from-scratch lunch to anyone who comes to our facility between 11AM and noon, no questions asked. We rely on volunteers and donations, both monetary and food, to sustain our operations, and we invite you to support our work in the community.

We also work with area churches and community organizations to offer evening meals (we provide the food, partners serve in their space) and utilize our food truck as a mobile Soup Kitchen. To learn more about becoming an evening meals or bagged lunch partner site, email us.
